CDI and its systems collect three types of data.
1. Program progress and performance. Your instructor and course admins will be able to view how much of the program you have completed and your score on quizzes. CDI uses this information to track how many learners are completing the program and to identify areas that could be improved.
2. Responses to questionnaires. Learners are asked to fill out questionnaires at the beginning and end of the program. These questionnaires ask about learner demographics, attitudes, and beliefs. This data is used by the CDI research team to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. Your responses to these questions are stripped of personal identifiers and will never be traced back to you by Perspectives, CDI, or by anyone at your institution. Only broad data trends from these questionnaires (spanning large numbers of anonymous learners) will ever be reported in CDI’s research. Your instructor cannot see individual questionnaire responses, not even anonymized ones.
3. Responses to prompts in the course content. This data is not reviewed by anyone at CDI but may be incidentally viewed by the CDI support staff as they help learners complete their program. It is not shared with anyone else at CDI or with anyone at your organization.
Please see our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service for more details. If you would like to view any of your data and/or have it deleted, please click "Contact us" and submit your request and we will handle it in a timely fashion.
